Welcome to the Winnipeg Coed Volleyball League!
Established in 1990, the WCVL is an independent, not for profit, volunteer based organization. As of 2016, the WCVL has become the largest volleyball league in Canada. The League is comprised of 18 Tiers, each consisting of 8 adult teams. That gives a total of 136 teams!!! We welcome all skill levels, from recreational to highly competitive. Matches are played Sundays between 9:00AM and 10:00PM from September-April.

The WCVL Spring Meeting will be held on May 28 at 7:30 pm @ East Elmwood Community Centre - 490 Keenleyside St, Winnipeg, MB R2K 4A1
ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY BY A TEAM REP.
Failure to attend the meeting will result in the loss of your performance bond.
Please take a look at the Fall Organizational Meeting minutes from August 24, 2023 as we will be adopting these minutes at the meeting. Both minutes and agenda can be found in the downloads section of the website.

WCVL is an independent league

The League is structured as a Tier League (8 teams per tier)

Match play is on Sundays between 8:30AM and 10:00PM

WCVL is a not for profit organization.

The season will run from September to April, with Tier Championships usually held during the last two Sundays of the season
- Each team has a guaranteed minimum one Playoff match.

There are three round robins of play. (7 matches per round robin)

Matches are played - best of 5. (Games 1-4 - no cap. Game 5 **15pts - no cap)

Tier movement occurs at the conclusion of each round robin and will be reassessed for the following season at the discretion of the WCVL Board.

The top two teams moves up to the next tier. The bottom two teams drop to the next lower tier. Tier placement is also reviewed by the executive.

All matches are officiated by MVOA officials.
- For the 2024/25 season the total cost per team is $1560. Team fee is $1460 and an additional $100 performance bond. The remaining bond amount will be returned at AGM unless requested for the league to keep for following year. If you are a returning team from previous season that made this request, this will be credited on your account when registration opens
