Winnipeg Coed Volleyball League

General Information

• The League is registered with the Manitoba Volleyball Association. 
• The League is structured as a 14 Tier League.
• We expect 112 Teams for the 2010/11 Season.
• Match play is on Sundays between 9:00AM and 9:30PM
• WSCVL is a not for profit organization.
• The regular seasons run from September to March, with Tier Championships usually held during the last two Sundays in March.

• There are three round robins of play. (7 matches per round robin)
• Matches are played - best of 5. (Games 1-4 - no cap. Game 5 cap @ 17 points)
• Tier movement occurs at the conclusion of each round robin.
• The top two teams moves up to the next tier. The bottom two teams drop to the next lower tier. Tier placement is also reviewed by the executive.
• All matches are officiated by MVOA officials.
• For the 2010/11 season the cost per team is $900. Plus a $100 performance bond for 21 matches, plus a minimum of one Play-off match. 
• Note: $25 per player MVA /Volleyball Canada Registration Fee
• An Awards Social is held each year after playoffs are over. (TBA - Franco MB Cultural Centre)
